Drawing, Painting, Singing: Learn to see with the indigenous eyes of unconquered Maine. Abenaki iconography grows from the biogeometry of living things. Learn to draw anything using the ancient Abenaki double curve pattern. SEE how the French borrowed our Abenaki patterns to decorate their castles and fashion, HEAR how our music influenced jazz, SING a medicine song to connect you to the Creator. We will make our own paint from berries. This is an interdisciplinary celebration of creativity.

Bring List: Bring a cup of berries, a feather, 2 stones, your favorite drawing tools, paper, comfortable clothes and shoes. ADDED: Bring blackberries or any other berries with beautiful juice from where you live! We will make our own sustainable paint.
